Is Channel Zim a television channel?
No. Channel Zim is a radio station that allows you to LISTEN to news, entertainment and discussions through your television.

How do I get Channel Zim?
Channel Zim is accessible on the Free to Air decoders such as the Wiztech. Scan for new channels and then search for Ch Zim.

What are the stations  can I listen to on Channel Zim?
The radio stations are Radio Voice of the People (VOP), Radio Dialogue, Voice of America's Studio 7, Patsaka Nyaminyami, Wezhira Radio, Community Radio Harare (CORAH FM) and Radio Kwelaz.

Can I access Channel Zim on DSTV?
It can be accessed on the public bouquet on the DSTV. You will have to input the following frequencies (Please follow the instructions carefully

* On your decoder's remote control press Menu button. 
Go to Advanced Options. Press OK. 
Select Disc Installations. Press OK. 
Type PIN no: 9949.

* On Network 2 press right arrow and change to DSTV (IS20/Pas7). Press OK to continue

Frequency: Press OK and type in: 12682. Press OK. 
Symbol Rate: Press OK and type in: 30000. Press OK. 
Fec: Right Arrow: Change to 5/6. Press OK. 
Polarization: Right arrow: Change to Vertical. 
Use nit: Right arrow: Change to Yes. 
Accept all display settings and leave screen: Press OK

On Network 3 press right arrow and change to DSTV (IS20/Pas7). Press OK to continue

Frequency: Press OK and type in: 12682. Press OK. 
Symbol Rate: Press OK and type in: 30000. Press OK. 
Fec: Right Arrow: Change to 3/4. Press OK. 
Polarization: Right arrow: Change to Vertical. 
Use nit: Right arrow: Change to Yes. 
Accept all display settings and leave screen: Press OK

Press Exit. The decoder will reboot automatically.

Do I pay to access Channel Zim?
There is no subscription required to listen to Channel Zim. It is free!

Can I access Channel Zim if i don't have a decoder?
Yes you can. You can listen to the audio stream from our website www.channelzim.net Click on the Listen Live. 

Can I listen to Channel Zim on my smartphone phone?
Yes on the TuneIn app on your smart phone but you will incur data costs. Search for Channel Zim on the App

I can't access Channel Zim, what do I do?
Some old Free To Air decoders cannot access Channel Zim. However, re-scan your decoder frequencies, if it still does not come up email us your decoder model and we will let you know if your decoder is supported to receive Channel Zim.

Kindly note that Channelzim has moved to a different location. To continue receiving ChannelZim please do the following: RESCAN (switch on and off).

Other Decoders:
RESCAN (Menu, installations, search)

Edit 12682 Transponder,
change Sym Rate to 30000
FEC to 3/4 and now RESCAN.

Flip through the channels.
